FOUNDATION YEAR

Think you’re not ready or right for uni? Think again…

If you don’t meet our entry requirements, you could still join us on a foundation year. A foundation year is an extra year at the start of your degree, designed to boost your academic skills and subject knowledge.

It’s available on all of our BEng engineering degrees. And the good news is, you can still do a placement year and integrated Masters if you join us on a foundation year.

Engineer your career with an integrated Masters

All our engineering courses include an integrated Masters option to continue your studies into a fourth year.

By studying for a Masters, you'll extend the depth and breadth of your engineering knowledge, and graduate with an MEng qualification.

Our MEng degrees also give you the mandatory four years of study that you need for accreditation as a Chartered Engineer, which opens even more doors to future employment and research opportunities.
