China Scholarship Council PhD Scholarships
The CSC PhD scholarship programme enables talented Chinese students to undertake a PhD programme at the University of Hull, building on Hull’s strong relationship with China.
About this award
As an official CSC partner, the CSC PhD scholarship programme enables talented Chinese students to undertake a PhD programme at the University of Hull. There are 10 full scholarships per year available for students to start a PhD. Students can apply for a PhD in any subject area.
If you are successful in your application for the CSC scholarship, you will receive the following funding:
- The University of Hull will cover 100% of tuition fees during your PhD study, which is three years in length.
- You may enter a writing-up period at the end of the three years. The University of Hull will cover the fees during this period, but your scholarship from CSC will not usually cover you during the writing-up year (fourth year).
- The China Scholarship Council will provide living allowance for three years, a return international airfare between China and the UK and funding to cover passport and visa fees.
